Happy 4th of July!

"Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!"

Excerpt from The Star Spangled Banner
Francis Scott Key 1814

Happy New Year

2009
Is here! Wow. Time sure flies.
Resolutions have been made, and I'm ready to start the new year!
We watched the party in NYC last night - wish we had been there. I LOVE NY!
We had my parents over and we played the Wii until the wee ours of the morning. LOL!

My mom and hubby playing baseball on the Wii.

My mom was getting pretty good!

Playing Guitar Hero World Tour that we got "the kids" for Christmas. LOL!

Helping Kristen play the drums put Alvyn to sleep...

...and singing.

Aaron playing the bass. :)

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Our Christmas Tree!
We put it up Thanksgiving Day - just now getting around to posting a pic. Thanks, mom, for your help untangling the lights!!!
